SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | BOSTON announced today, the completion of a 16,516 RSF lease with Boston Wax Museum, LLC. Marci Alvarado and Jake Parsons of SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | BOSTON represented the Tenant, Boston Wax Museum, LLC. The Landlord, The Georgetown Companies, was represented by Jeremy Grossman of CBRE/Grossman Retail Advisors.

The Boston Wax Museum will be the first new museum to open in Boston in a very long time. The museum is going to feature key individuals who have been integral to the history of the Commonwealth as well as others who have had an impact on our culture and society. The museum promises to be a true “experience” that everyone will thoroughly enjoy. The target opening is anticipated for sometime late Spring 2016.

The location of the building, which is just steps from City Hall, Faneuil Hall, and accessible to the Government Center “T” Station, was essential to their decision to locate the museum at 1 Washington Mall. The entity that will operate the Boston Wax Museum is based in Brazil where they own and operate three successful wax museums as well as other entertainment venues.
