The new Needham store is a relocation of the Chestnut Hill salon whose lease was coming up for renewal. “We were able to save the tenant money and still capture their consumer base,” commented Santiago.
Snip-its has changed the dynamic of children’s haircare by turning what has traditionally been considered a mundane and often unpleasant experience into a fun-filled adventure. The Snip-its custom interior features their own cast of cartoon characters, in-store children’s entertainment, a prize box, and a complete line of haircare products formulated just for kids.
Snip-its, originally headquartered in Natick, Mass., was conceived by creator and founder Joanna Meiseles in 1995. In 2010, Snip-its relocated its headquarters to Minnesota. Snip-its Haircuts for Kids, now has over 60 salons nationally and offers numerous franchise opportunities throughout the U.S
