1881 Worcester Road is 64,000 square foot Class B office building purchased in 2007. The 2-story multi-tenant building is strategically located at the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike and Route 9. We purchased the property with a 50% vacancy, from an institutional investor, and developed a plan to sub-divide the 32,000 square feet on the second floor. We marketed to companies that would benefit from the location to Framingham Tech Park, the Mass Pike and many of the areas leading corporations such as Genzyme, Staples and Bose headquarters. In early 2015, we were able to successfully lease the building up to 100% and subsequently worked with Mass DOT to acquire a parcel of adjacent land and expand the parking ratio.
