Building a Community at Emerson Place
Bedford, MA – January 28, 2019 – SVN® | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston announced the completion of several leases at 41-55 North Road in Bedford, Massachusetts, a 40,000 +/- square foot building anchored by Emerson Hospital and Chestnut Dental.
Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Marilyn Santiago, Matt Quinlan and Alex Berger were hired to lease up the office, medical and dental building. “We have brought in four new tenants in less than 1 year and brought the building to over 93% occupancy,” commented Santiago. “We have just one suite left in the building – a first floor unit of 1,600 square feet,” commented, Quinlan.
The tenants consist of a great mix that complement each other including:
Bedford Behavioral Health, a collaborative of independent mental health providers. Principal, Owner and Founder Diane Harris had a vision to bring together a group of health providers to provide an extensive menu of services. “I have a lot of compassion for people and try my best to make people feel comfortable and cared for. Having worked and managed a behavioral health office previously – I thought why not take a chance (after all I am a risk taker) and so Bedford Behavioral Health began, commented Harris.”
Continuing on the theme of wellness the SVN Parsons Commercial Group team sourced other wellness providers and that is when they landed the next tenant Serenity Yoga Center. Serenity Yoga Center will provide a great service and amenity to the community as well as the building.
Bedford Pediatrics also found their start at 41-55 North Road and has been a catalyst for growth in the building. Founded by Dr. David Geller who has been practicing in the Lexington/Bedford area since 1996. The Bedford Pediatrics team is committed to the healthy development of children. Having grown up in Maine, Dr. Geller has always tried to bring a small-town, personal touch to his practice of medicine.
The most recent tenant coming is ArtSpark School of Visual Art. ArtSpark is a school for learning the fundamentals of drawing and is based on the belief that making art helps us solve problems and learn from our environments. Small class instruction for students (ages 6 – adult) will build life-long drawing skills for those who want to learn to see and think creatively.
The new ownership, Oxford Equities, put together a tenant appreciation gathering just recently to bring everyone together. “That is what this building is, a great collection of tenants that complement and promote each other’s growth,” said owner Navdeep Arora. “I used SVN Parsons Commercial Group for the first time as our leasing agent and I am truly impressed by their dedication, creativity and most importantly creating win-win relationships for all parties involved. They have created the perfect tenant mix for this building and made it the first “Wellness Centre” in Bedford, commented Arora.
